Dimensions Consulting concluded the final session of the ToT training under the development of Entrepreneurship Curricula in Palestine Project with Maan Development Center.
Women and Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship and Employment in the West Bank and Gaza Strip Project, which is a project funded by Global Affairs of Canada (GAC), and implemented by Save the Children (SC) in partnership with MAAN development center and PARC.
WYEEE is a four-year project in the West Bank (Jordan Valley, Nablus, Tubas, Tulkarem and Jenin) and Gaza Strip to empower female youth entrepreneurs (15-29) in the agricultural sector.
This project will aim to reduce barriers to entrepreneurship faced by female youth in the agriculture sector by responding to and addressing the key gender-based cognitive, economic, and social and institutional barriers that hinder female youth’s agency and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Under this project Dimensions Consulting was contracted to develop entrepreneurship curricula and adapt interactive and engaging training material and trainer’s manual for entrepreneurship education, that is gender-responsive, and has a strong agriculture and environmental sustainability focus, and uses practice-based participatory and interactive methodologies. The curricula are expected to be delivered through formal and non-formal education and training institutions such as: Universities, TVET institutions, CBO’s, public, private, UNRWA schools, NGO’s, private training businesses in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Dimensions trained the MT’s to adapt and deliver the above-developed training modules, mainstreaming of gender-responsiveness curricula and training, green-entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability in entrepreneurship training and how to carry out gender-responsive training of trainers for secondary schools, TVET institutions, and university teachers, and directly carry out training in CBOs.
